Sheila

Sheila. This painting is based on a photo taken on a rare November blue sky day. It was bright and sunny and my friends Carolina and Sheila were taking a walk. We were feeling quite invigorated by the pleasant day as well as being in each other’s company. I love this picture of Carolina because of how sunny she looked and how much energy and happiness she was radiating.   In her case, I kept the background white.  The brightness works well with the tones of her skin and the overall essence of the day.
