A Jug of Spice

This painting is about celebrating summer and autumn with gerberas in vibrant orange and red colours.  I love the contrast of the jug with the black and white of the fabric also edged with orange, like a bit of ribbon.    I always want the viewer to feel as though you could reach into the image and touch the flowers; to have the air flowing through the fabric caress your senses.  And mostly, I want you to feel happy every time you look.
